Exhibition "From Kalkhedon to Klaudiopolis"


Within the scope of the "102 Exhibitions in the 102nd Year: A Journey to the Cultural Heritage of Anatolia in the Light of the Republic" project organized to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of our Republic, the exhibition titled "From Kalkhedon to Claudiopolis" met with art lovers at the Bolu Museum.
The exhibition, which opened on July 2, 2025, showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Bithynia region in northwestern Anatolia, extending from ancient times to Rome. Combining the ancient past of Kadıköy (Kalkhedon) and Bolu (Klaudiopolis), the exhibition features 47 works for the first time. 30 of these are silver coins from the 4th and 3rd centuries BC , while 17 are stone artifacts from the Roman Period .
The exhibition awaits history and archaeology enthusiasts and can be visited at Bolu Museum until October 1, 2025 .
